I'm an artist who believes in crafting with heart and purpose. During my university journey, I designed a font called 'Beyti,' which is a fusion of English and Arabic letters, translating to 'home.' Though Arabic isn't my native tongue, it resonates deeply with me, evolving into my first language. Immersed in the dance of letters and constantly transitioning inbetween languages during my upbringing, I never fully mastered reading and writing Arabic. However, my desire to stay connected birthed 'Beyti'—a bridge between my world and the Arabic language.
The concept of 'home' holds immense significance, especially in the face of the ongoing genocide in Gaza, where countless homes have been destroyed. The essence of 'Beyti' takes on even more profound meaning. I share these letters with the hope that they become a symbol of connection and solidarity.
Design for a Cause: Saed Campaign
I've been deeply moved by the Saed Campaign's commitment to aiding families in Southern Gaza. It's more than a cause; it's a call to action.
Why It Matters:
- Essential Aid: The Saed Campign provides vital support to families in Southern Gaza, with a focus on Rafah.
- Nutritional Support: Delivering vegetables to 100 tents and food to 150 tents.
- Water Access: Refilling drinking water for three camps.
